Damian Hyde

Hi. My name is Damian Hyde. I am an Elementary Education major. I am currently in my junior year here at Lock Haven University. I love to play all sorts of instruments. Right now I can fluently play the guitar and drums. I am working on learning piano, but that is turning out to be quite a challenge.

After this class, I expect to have a better understanding on how to incorporate technology into my classroom. I also expect to be able to use more project based lesson plans that use things like podcasts, blogs, and videos. My sixth grade teacher used a lot of technology in her project based lessons and I really enjoyed that experience. When I become a professional educator, I would love to have a computer available for every one of my students. I believe that computers are an amazing learning tool with endless possibilities.
